David Wild is a high school mathematics teacher and a budding triathlete. He hails from San Diego, California and spent his college years in Berkeley, California. He earned his B.A. in Mathematics degree at the University of California Berkeley (2009) and his Master of Science in Secondary Education degree at John’s Hopkins University (2016). After living and working in the Bay Area for four years after college, he was accepted into Teach for America and has been teaching at Konawaena High School since 2014. He teaches Algebra I, Trigonometry, Pre-Calculus, and AP Calculus. He’s been competing competitively in triathlon since 2013.
